DaVita McCook Dialysis offers both convenience and quality of care for dialysis patients in southwest Nebraska and northwest Kansas. The eight-station state-of-the facility, which opened in July 2002, ensures patients receive high-quality hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis treatment. Additional services include:

• Patient training and consultation
• Non-dialysis consultations for patients with kidney and high blood pressure issues
• Local peritoneal dialysis training & monitoring services available
• Dietary education
• Social services

A team of skilled staff provides care and hands-on assistance during treatment. Staff includes registered nurses, a licensed practical nurse, patient care technicians, social worker (MSW) and a registered dietitian.

Office Hours
The dialysis center provides hemodialysis Monday through Saturday and peritoneal dialysis Monday through Friday and on-call. Office hours are 6 a.m. - 5 p.m.

DaVita McCook Dialysis Medical Staff:
Gabor Bodonyi-Kovacs, M.D.

Dr. Bodonyi-Kovacs is a nephrologist (kidney specialist) based in Grand Island with Nebraska Kidney Care. He sees patients twice a month in McCook at the DaVita McCook Dialysis center.
